[edit] Band Biography
In the wake of the "indefinite hiatus" At the Drive-In took in late 2001, Sparta formed and followed with its debut Austere EP in early 2002 while Omar Rodriguez-Lopez and Cedric Bixler-Zavala went on to form The Mars Volta. Porcelain came out in mid-2004, but line-up changes and touring made another record slow in following.
