Annie Clark (born september 28, 1982, TulsaOklahoma), better known as St. Vincent is an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. She grew up in Dallasand studied for some years at the Berklee College of Music. For her solo career, she joined the touring band The Polyphonic Spree and Sufjan Stevens 's.

Her debut album Marry Me (2007), followed by Actor (2009). Her third album, Strange Mercy, was released on september 13, 2011. On 10 september 2012, David Byrne brought them together with the album Love This Giant out. Her fourth album, St. Vincent, was released on 24 February 2014.

Clark has played the opening act for bands such as Arcade Fire, Andrew Bird, Jolie Holland, John Vanderslice, Xiu Xiu, Death Cab for Cutie, Cristina Donà and Grizzly Bear.She has worked with Bon Iver for the song "Roslyn", which appeared on the soundtrack of The Twilight Saga: New Moon. Her song "The Strangers" was sampled by Kid Cudi in the song "MANIAC" for his album Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager along with rapper Cage.
