The Staatskapelle Berlin is the Orchestra of the Staatsoper Unter den Linden in Berlin. The Chief conductor is the Generalmusikdirektor of the Berlin Staatsoper; Since the end of 1991 is that Daniel Barenboim.

Nowadays, the Staatskapelle Berlin as one of the leading orchestras of Germany and Europe.
