TEC Tones, later, Esoteric Music Group, was founded from the ashes of Ralph by Tom Timony after the Residents turned over Ralph to him. He kept it going, distributing many former Ralph acts as well as other like-minded individuals, like Negativland. Unfortunately, EMG closed its mail-order doors in 2001, although from time to time, auctions appear on eBay for the old releases. TEC Tones was also the distributor/maintainer of the original Shonen Knife fan club, headed by Jad Fair.
