Taylor Swift is an American country pop artist. She has had much success in her native country as well as Canada, and has seen moderate success internationally as well.

Albums Edit

Taylor's debut album saw much success in the U.S. and did moderately well in Canada. It was not released in most countries, resulting in very little international success. SinglesEdit

Swift's first batch of singles were only popular in her native country and Canada as they were the only countries they were released in, excluding "Teardrops on My Guitar," which was released as the second single from her sophomore album in some European countries in 2008. "Teardrops on My Guitar" was also Swift's first multi-format hit in the United States, where it charted on both the country and pop radio charts. Her sophomore album deemed larger hits as Swift solidified herself as a hit crossover artist in the United States as well as igniting interest in her internationally. Her third album has followed the same pattern.
