[edit] Band Biography
The band started in the early 1990s as a group of people who loved the Beach Boys. They started as the Apples, but found out that another band had taken that name, so they added the "in stereo", in lowercase, to separate themselves from the other group. (However, they are not particularly picky when it comes to the capitalization of their name.) Robert Schnieder and Hilarie Sidney were married, although it was revealed that they divorced in 2004. Fortunately, the Apples are still together and recording a new album. In the downtime, both Robert and Hilarie recorded albums with other projects.
