Artist: Wall of Voodoo

Album: Index Masters

Appears On (Mixes): Thirteen Ugly Children Roll Gutterballs

Song Notes: This is one of the early Wall of Voodoo songs, from their very first 12" EP. It's a song people probably won't be hearing too much, as it's about terrorism from the terrorist's point of view. It's one of Stan Ridgway's many story songs—it doesn't take a position either way; it merely reports on the events. Lately, I've been on a Stan Ridgway kick it seems, and this is a neat little song, so I figured I'd share it. It's kinda-available on the Index Masters CD, but that's out of print and kind of hard to come by sometimes (though Rykodisc is reissuing it, finally!). It's really good, though, so if you see it, I recommend picking it up. (This is also the source—both the 12" and this CD—for their cover of "Ring Of Fire", which is another song I like sharing a lot.) - Rev. Syung Myung Me
