Artist: The Residents

Album: The Third Reich N Roll

Review: Saaaaay, you know what's cool? Sharing music from artists you've never heard! But you know what else can be cool? Sharing music by the same old artists you always share!

The last Residents track I sent, "Satisfaction", was taken as a teaser from the The Third Reich N Roll album (recently reissued by Mute), and this is taken from that record. The actual album is two long medley tracks (one for each side of the LP), each in about twenty minutes in length. This is from the second side of that, "Hitler Was A Vegetarian" (which actually turns out to be not true), and the final suite of the album, a brilliant collage of four popular songs from pop radio -- "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida by Iron Butterfly, Sunshine Of Your Love by Cream, Hey Jude by The Beatles and Sympathy For The Devil by the Rolling Stones. Pay particular attention to the guitar solo near the end—it's a really clever combination of the songs. - Rev. Syung Myung Me
