Time is a single 1974 the British group Pink Floyd , and appeared on the album The Dark Side of the Moon . It is the only song where all four names of the band members when indicated.The song is introduced by a half minutes ticking and ringing of various clocks, recorded by Alan Parsons . Then it takes another 2 minutes before the song really starts. These two minutes are filled with simple rhythmic figures and long notes. David Gilmour then take the verses themselves, Richard Wright bridge sections. During the bridge sings background vocals with a female. Gilmour then takes the chorus for themselves, but do so entirely instrumental in his style. The song ends in a reprise of Breathe , the opening song of the album.
