"Tin Soldier"is a song by British rock group Small Faces. It originally appeared on the American version of their second studio album, entitled There Are But Four Small Faces, and was on 2 december 1967 by Immediate Records as single released. It was the eleventh single from the Small Faces and their third on the Immediate label. On the b-side was by Steve MarriottRonnie Lane and Ian McLagan written "I Feel Much Better".

The Small Faces achieved with "Tin Soldier" the ninth place in the u.k chart, seventh place in Switzerland and the fifth place in the Dutch Top 40. Marriott wrote the song initially for P.P. Arnold, but decided to take it myself. Arnold sang so bad on this record. In 1981 took Marriot "Tin Soldier" with the band Humble Pie for the album Go for the Throat. The song is about Jenny Rylands, with whom Marriott later married. [1]
