Song Notes: As-I-Listen Review: Papa M is just sort of there. I'm not really terribly compelled by it, either to listen or to skip it. I'm sorta not terribly impressed, and I have to admit that the line "skipadeedoo, skipadeeaye" sorta made me inch towards the button a bit, but I think it's about over. Eh. This is totally existing. Yep. I have a feeling I can safely put Death Cab For Cutie in this same paragraph, just because while they're about the best Bonzo Dog Band-Inspired-Name band I know, they're also pretty much the only Bonzo Dog Band-Inspired-Name Band I know. Which is odd, because you'd think they'd have more band names hidden in their work, but hey. Anyway, though, I tend to find Death Cab For Cutie hell of boring. (I am kinda liking the Postal Service, though I've only heard a little, mainly the Such Great Heights EP, but I dig electronic stuff more.) His vocals don't seem to fit this sort of thing nearly as well, because he seems to sorta be over reaching to do that sort of Emo Rock Guy Singing and it's sorta egh. I'm not even really compelled to skip this one either I guess, but I probably will in another verse or so. These lyrics are really sort of... overwritten or something; I'm not sure how to explain the exact way this Does Not Click with me, but it is So Not Clicking. Ok, I'm skipping. - Rev.
