Too Much Too Young "is a song from the 1980 British ska band The Specials. It is an adaptation of Birth Control by the Jamaican singer Lloyd Charmers.

The Specials took it in 1979 for their self-titled debut album. In January 1980, the souped-up live version the bearing number of the Special AKA Live EP that the band earned her first # 1 hit. The story goes that theBBC the number boycotted because of the last sentence "Try wearing a cap!" ("Wear a condom!"), but that just got broken off in Top of the Pops .
