The Trachtenburg Family Slideshow Players are basically what you'd expect from their name -- they're a real family with the name "Trachtenburg", and they play songs about slideshows they get from estate sales. They've got clever lyrics and an interesting gimmick -- aside from the slides, they actually ARE a family -- Jason Trachtenburg, the dad, writes, sings and plays keys and guitar, Tina Piña Trachtenburg is the mom who sings and runs the slide projector, and Rachel Trachtenburg, their 11 year old daughter sings and plays drums (and has since she was 8 or 9). They were the first unsigned band to play on Late Night With Conan O'Brien.
