Trans-Europe Express is an album by the German group Kraftwerk released in 1977 . It was simultaneously a German version released with the name Trans Europe Express . In a theme album based on the express train network Trans Europe Express (TEE).

Note 1: The number "Trans-Europe Express" flows seamlessly into "Metal on Metal". This begins with a piece of percussion and then replays the tune of "Trans-Europe Express". The whole is 13:32 long. In the German version "Metall auf Metall" was split into two tracks. It is "Abzug" the revival of the melody of "Trans Europe Express".  Note 2: The English version of the album features a color cover, while the German version was issued in a monochrome cover.
