2012 Concert Series - Aerosmith

The Music Wiki's 2012 Concert Series
Show #9: Aerosmith

If you're an Aerosmith fan that won't be able to make it to The Global Warming Tour, you should still be fired up that it's happening at all. For those who aren't in the know, frontman Steven Tyler, who has been busy as a judge on American Idol, has a long history of beef with guitarist Joe Perry. After all of the band's ups and downs in the past few years, it's a rare treat to see them rally together for this summer's tour with Cheap Trick. Joe Perry may have made fun of Steven Tyler for joining American Idol, and the band did tell Rolling Stone that they were considering replacing the singer [1], but somehow they rallied and jumped back on the old tour bus. Hopefully it's the power of music that they can't escape, and not the money.
