Vanilla Ice (real name Robert Matthew Van Winkle (born October 31 , 1967) is an American rapper who scored one big hit in the early 1990s with Ice Ice Baby. He is partly of Dutch origin.

The single Ice Ice Baby reached in many countries, including the Netherlandsnumber 1 position. In the song is (initially without permission) used a sample of the song "Under Pressure" by Queen and David Bowie. Vanilla Ice fell as one of the first white rappers huge on.
