[edit] Band Biography
Violent Femmes are a band that have a pretty strong following, particularly amongst College Rock fans. Their music has occasionally crossed over into the mainstream (with songs like "Blister In The Sun", though mostly, they've remained a cult band for the bulk of their career. In the 2000s, they announced that they'd no longer record albums of new music, but would play when booked, however the band has broken up before. All members have released solo albums.
