Artist: Elvis Costello & The Attractions

Album: Punch The Clock CD Reissue/Every Man Has A Woman

Appears On (Mixes): Past The Barber and Gymnasium

Song Notes: This is the cover of the Yoko Ono song from Double Fantasy (her version was actually recorded the same day John Lennon was shot). Elvis' version was for a compilation Yoko was finishing for her late husband, Every Man Has A Woman, a collection of covers of her songs. This was recorded between stops on a tour in New Orleans, produced by Allen Toussaint (who wrote such songs as "Workin' In A Coalmine"). It was also later released on the Rykodisc reissue of Punch The Clock, and Rhino also put it on their reissue of the same album. - Rev. Syung Myung Me
