Song Notes: Another more spoken word piece about dying of dehydration in the desert after an automobile malfunction. The only way it could be creepier, I suppose is if it involved drowning in a submarine or something, as that's probably my biggest fear, at least as Ways To Die go. But dying in the desert isn't particularly pleasant either. Some really great poetry in this one, too—I love the phrasing of some of the bits ("Her lips looked like dead, fried marshmallow shells... I was replused to think I was repulsed") and the celebration of the mundane as the narrator looks back on his escaping life. Just a wonderful, eering song. Barnes & Barnes reused the music from this piece on Crispin Hellion Glover's album, which they produced. A wonderful piece. - Rev. Syung Myung Me
