White Plains was a British rock band that has existed from the autumn 1969 to 1974. She was signed to Deram Records. Much later the band toured again in the Golden-Oldie circuit.

White Plains evolved from The Flower Pot Men; This band took out success in the United States and England, but at one point it was worked out. The lead singer Tony Burrows, previously from The Ivy League and later would pop up in the Brotherhood of Man recorded some members to White Plains. The first numbers were continued under the name TFPM, but were released under White Plains. Text and music writers for the band were already Roger Greenaway and Roger Cook.

The first single I've got you on my mind was a hit mainly in the USA and the UK. Of those singles took out only When You Are A King a few the Dutch Top 40 and also the American, Canadian and British charts. There were only two albums, the next album was already in the making, but there came no more.

Greenway and Cook appeared moments later on when Blue Mink.
