ReviewEdit

The XM live album was a limited release offered to fans attending Porcupine Trees concerts in 2003, and those who bought it made an excellent investment as it’s now a highly sort after collectors piece. The set was recorded live at the XM Satellite Studios on the 12th of November, 2002 and featured the best part of the highly acclaimed In Absentia album.

The highlight of the set has to be the ambient and drifting Gravity Eyelids, and it’s a track which many fans crave to see done live although it very rarely is. This is certainly an excellent companion to In Absentia and the excellent live workmanship of the band is fully flaunted in what is an effective live studio recording, which would make a great re-release one day.
